Our minimum is 2,000 pairs per design, color, and size. You get the best per-pair value on production runs of 10,000 pairs and up. We don't offer design services, so you supply your own artwork, and all production happens in Istanbul, through our sister company Elteksan.

    Quote & brief

    Send your artwork, yarn and quantity. We confirm feasibility, pricing and a production schedule, typically within one business day.

  2. 02

    Sampling

    We knit a pre-production sample to your specification for approval before any bulk run begins. A sample is $300 per design, or from $500 for grip, compression, and other specialty constructions, and includes three pairs with shipping.

    Bulk production

    On approval, your order goes into production under in-house quality control.

    Finishing & dispatch

    Branding, packaging to your spec, final QC, and shipment from Turkiye to the U.S. and EU on one duty-paid landed price.

Timelines are typical and depend on order size, complexity and material availability. Bulk production of 4-6 weeks applies to orders up to 50,000 pairs; larger programs are scheduled individually.

What is the minimum order quantity for custom socks? +
Sihman's minimum order is 2,000 pairs per design, color, and size. Color and size each count separately: one design in two sizes means 2,000 pairs of each size, 4,000 pairs in total. Specialty fibers such as merino or alpaca carry a higher minimum. At these volumes, per-pair pricing comes in well below small-batch custom shops, with the best value starting at 10,000 or more pairs.
How long does custom sock production take? +
Custom sock production takes 4 to 6 weeks after sample approval, for orders up to 50,000 pairs. Before that, quotes are returned within one business day and a pre-production sample takes 2 to 3 weeks. Delivery adds 3 to 7 days by air or 20 to 45 days by sea. Specialty yarns such as merino, alpaca, or Tencel add time; we confirm your timeline in the quote.
What shipping terms do you quote? +
Sihman quotes delivered duty-paid (DDP) by default: one landed price to your door with shipping and customs already inside it, and Sihman acts as importer of record for US orders. FOB Istanbul is available on request if you would rather manage freight and customs yourself. Once your socks are ready, delivery takes about 3 to 7 days by air or 20 to 45 days by sea.
Where are Sihman socks made, and what certifications does production hold? +
Sihman Inc. is a Texas company based in the Dallas area, and all socks are knitted in Istanbul, Turkiye by our sister company Elteksan, in operation since 1999. Production holds OEKO-TEX Standard 100, amfori BSCI, Sedex, and OCS, with documentation available on request. For US orders Sihman acts as importer of record, so you receive one duty-paid landed price.
